This passing week was Fashion week in Stockholm. This fashion week is being held twice a year to showcase the latest collections of the top Swedish fashion brands. I followed it closely to tell you a bit more about what is going in the Swedish fashion industry and what is trending. I have gathered a few pictures of my favourite designs and here are the Fashion week Stockholm makeup and hair trends.
The Designers which I liked the most are designs from Ida Sjöstedt; Naim Josefi and Stand. That beautiful yellow dress with pastel color embroider flowers on (photo above) is from Ida Sjöstedt. That dress is my absolute favourite and I think it looks heavenly beautiful. The model’s makeup was kept very natural in natural nude and blush pink colours. Her skin looked fresh with a warm glow of bronzer on the cheeks and forehead. Emphasis on the eyes were created with a black liquid eyeliner on her top lashes. Her hair was combed in a side parting with very soft, natural waves to make it look light and airy. She looked like an absolute beautiful angel.

The makeup (white dress above) was also kept natural, but this time the eyeliner ended in a winged eye and the model’s hair was tied up to the back for a more elegant look.
For those who don’t know who Ida Sjöstedt is: she is the Designer who designed Princes Sofia’s (married to Swedish Prins Carl Phillip) wedding dress. See more here: http://www.svenskdam.se/2016/07/prinsessornas-ikoniska-brollopsklanningar/

This beautiful blue evening dress above is designed by the very talented Naim Josefi. What is that blue shiny things you might ask? Listen to this – it is Swedish steel sequins! How impressive is that?! Some of his casual denim wear, like his jeans and caps, also has this beautiful steel sequins.
Silver and chrome makeup are currently still trending. The models makeup were kept very natural with a dewy skin and just a dot of silver in the inside corners of the eyes. The hair were pulled back into a classic ponytail. It was accessorised with a band which were glued down on the sides of the temples.

Naim Josefi’s designs are so impressive, creative and unique. I decided to add a few of his pictures here.

His denim is individually burnt in with a laser by hand. His steel shoes are just as impressive. Here is a link to his shoes and website: http://www.naimjosefi.com/meloniashoe

Do you remember last year when I was doing makeup at the Damernas Värld Guldknappen Awards and fashion show? We were doing makeup (I did touch-ups 🙂 ) for the winner, Stand. Here are a few of her designs which I liked the most. The makeup on the models were kept natural. The eyes were emphasised with an elongated wing in a graphic style to create a modern cat eye. The hair were combed in a center parting and were left very natural. Here, the 90’s hair is trending.

Lastly, at Hunkydory, I spotted the stars trend. A natural makeup with little stars on the temples.
